About the Landmarks Visited Catalog

  • The Landmarks Visited Catalog is a cooperative project of Markeroni, the Gentle Art of Landmark-Snarfing. Every time somebody logs a historical marker or historic landmark on the site, a Catalog entry is created.
  • From this you may conclude that the Catalog does not reflect every landmark listed at Markeroni; it only reflects those that have been found by members. There are many thousands of landmarks and markers that have not yet been found.
  • To find out more about local historical marker and landmark resources, visit our Resources section.
  • There may be inaccuracies in our data. Please feel free to contact us if you find errors and we'll put it right. We make no warranties that our database is accurate, though we do try.
