What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for Alberta, CanadaWe are partway through entering the plaques for Alberta. They have recently been in the process of being updated. We were kindly provided a list by the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation, even though it's not available online.There is an inventory, but we do not count it as landmarks because it is a listing of everything. However, the designated sites (see above) are the equivalent of a state register, and as such can be logged. The national sites may or may not have a plaque. As far as we can tell, they have been entered into the database. Please also look into the General Canada Information page for more information. With the national sites, unfortunately we have no idea, for the most part, what county or muncipality the sites belong in; we're relying on you for those kinds of updates. Almost everything in Alberta will have to be requested individually.
