When we started with data entry at Markeroni, Alabama was one of the
first sets of data we input. As it turns out, the Historical Commission
markers should really have been the "AL" list, as they are
government-sponsored and slightly more "official", but we entered the
Historical Society ones first, and so it remains to this day.
If you find missing state/AHC historical markers, be sure to note which
kind you have find when you request it.
