What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for British Columbia, Canada

The provincial plaques in British Columbia are green and shield-shaped. To date, we have been able to find no information online about them. So, if you find one, you'll need to be requesting it individually. In general, it has been hard to find information about BC online, though we are reasonably sure that there is also some kind of a provincial register, as well.
