What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for Mississippi, USAThere are over 600 historical markers in Mississippi's system. A simple listing up to 2002 is online, but for the most part we have no idea where these markers are, and we have no data beyond that. Your best bet is to do a search in our Journals area, then cross-reference whatever you find with our list. If we don't have it, then please request it individually.Eddie Richardson's private project is very helpful and interesting: see link below. There is also a separate landmarks designation, and National Register properties too. These can be requested one county at a time. For the state register, we only have data up to 2002 at this time. All other landmarks will need to be requested individually unless you can find a city or other local system with information online.
