What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for North Carolina, USA

All the basic data for North Carolina has been entered: state historical markers, National Register, and National Historic Sites. Therefore, please request missing landmarks from these lists, as well as new wildcards, monuments, museums etc. separately. If you find a new local list, you may request it as a unit, so long as you can provide a link to the data online.

The North Carolina system has at least 1,400 markers. The more recent ones are linked on the state's historical marker page, and if you notice that we haven't updated in a while, please tap us gently on the shoulder and remind us. We will get to it. You can also request the missing marker individually. We will get to that more quickly.

We use the marker code as the basis of our numbering, with a few modifications.
