What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for Northern Territory, USAThere is a list of Northern Territory heritage properties. Many, of course, are on private property - you may only count any property where you will not in any way trespass. If you believe that a property should be excluded, i.e. it cannot be reasonably viewed from the pavement outside - then please let us know and we will remove it. Others will be of an archaelogical nature and should be excluded because they are sensitive. Over time, with your help, we will be able to establish which sites are okay and which are not.At this time we are unsure whether we should be using the "government gazette" number as our numbering, or whether we should simply assign our own numbers. We hope to enter all the landmarks in due course, but for now, please request the ones you find individually. We do not know whether these sites have plaques, but if you can locate a site and are not intruding, you may log it. For the National Register and Commonwealth Registers, you will need to ensure that your search is set to a) historic sites only and b) Listed/Registered sites only. We can't include sites which are pending. We have input the National sites up to the middle of 2005. Again, please put in your request one "county" at a time. Everything else, such as museums, monuments and random plaques, will need to be requested individually.
