What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for Oregon, USAOregon has a series of historical markers and we have, to the best of our knowledge, input them all. A brochure can be downloaded from the Travel Information Council site above. If you notice that new markers were added, please let us know by putting in an individual request.We have retained the state's numbering and have added letters to denote whether it is a tree or one of the three main geographic areas into which the large wooden markers are divided. Oregon also includes Heritage Trees in its list. We believe this may be the only statewide heritage tree list in the entire USA. All the National Register of Historic Properties are input (they may not always have a plaque). All other landmarks will need to be added individually, though if you find a local system with information online, please let us know.
