What information about historical markers and landmarks to expect for Queensland, Australia
The Queensland landmarks can easily be looked up at the links/databases above.The statewide list, the Queensland Heritage Register, is searchable and you can assume that anything in the searchable database is a landmark that you can log, so long as you can see it from the street without trespassing or it is not on private property or otherwise delicate. However, we currently have no idea whether these sites have plaques; on the other hand, if you can find them, you can log them.
For the National Register and Commonwealth Registers, you will need to ensure that your search is set to a) historic sites only and b) Listed/Registered sites only. We can't include sites which are pending.
