Here is a sample lesson plan provided by a teacher in Texas who ran the Markeroni Challenge with her 7th grade students:

At least two ways forward:

1. Teacher signs up on behalf of class: A teacher signs up on behalf of a class, using a School Class membership. (See the User Agreement).

   The class does all its landmark-hunting as a unit, under one username, and the teacher is responsible for the passwords and journal entries. (If desired, students can write up their own work; the teacher can copy and paste what they write.)

2. Individual students in a class: As long as the students are thirteen years old or older, and as long as suitable parental permissions have been obtained, students may sign up individually under the supervision of a teacher and may enter their own landmarks.

Taking the Markeroni Challenge

You can also have each student, with his or her own account, looking for landmarks alone (or in small groups). This would require a discounted per-student fee. All students who sign up to the site must be at least thirteen years of age.

Suitable parental permissions and waivers of liability are required. We can work within your own systems.
