2008! I've made a resolution to get out and get to know more about the history of Melbourne. I started hunting landmarks in Warrandyte with Markeroni last year and have had a great time learning about the people who came because of the gold rush and how they lived and prospected here.
You never know what's happened in your own backyard. =)
It's a fascinating hobby and a great bunch of people -- why not give Markeroni a try?

Hey guys,
You've probably heard me talk about Markeroni before, but I wanted to invite you! It's fun to "collect" historical markers and to keep track of where you've been. I've learned a lot about local history since joining and it gets me out of the house more, which is definitely a good thing. Just e-mail me if you have any questions. :)
